Through a national network that brings together highly qualified clinical, methodological and scientific expertise, INCiPiT supports the development of studies capable of generating robust evidence and contributing concretely to the improvement of paediatric care. Collaboration among centres, research quality and knowledge sharing represent the pillars on which the Consortium’s activities are built.

Within this framework, the INCIPIT Call for Interest 2026 plays a key role, translating the network’s ability to turn clinical needs and research ideas into structured, high-impact studies. The Call aims to select and support a multicentre, prospective, non-profit observational clinical study, with the objective of strengthening collaboration among Consortium members and enhancing the wide-ranging expertise within the network.

This initiative also represents the first step of a multi-year programme designed to consolidate INCiPiT’s role as a promoter of independent paediatric research, supporting the development of new projects and strengthening a network capable of addressing the main challenges in child health.

On a day dedicated to children’s rights and well-being, INCiPiT highlights the value of research as a key driver to ensure increasingly effective, safe and evidence-based care. Investing in paediatric research means investing in the future of children and contributing to the development of a more equitable, innovative, and needs-oriented healthcare system.
